Medical Device Data Integration Solution for Clinicians
Capsule’s solution was designed with nurses, for nurses and truly does fit the way the nurse works. It works with your existing medical devices and clinical workflow to improve direct patient care time and reduce charting errors. It doesn't require you to carry around yet another handheld device or tablet or wheel in a workstation to collect vitals or perform PPID. In fact, we do the opposite. Capsule’s solution frees nurses from data entry and automates the transition of that data to the EMR, leaving you more time to care for your patients.

Will we need to get new patient monitors?
No. Our solution works with virtually any patient monitor as well as any other medical device such as vents and IV pumps. This means you don't have to worry about re-hauling your unit and re-training your staff. And our lower acuity solution not only works with your existing monitor but we even mount our platform on the roll stand with the vital signs monitor you're already to truly fit the way you work.
How quickly will vitals be available in my patient's chart?
Vitals are available in near real time with our Mobile Vitals Plus application for lower acuity environments. When using our Status Application in higher acuity environments vitals are sent right away from all connected devices to the EMR but are waiting for validation when you have time to chart to eliminate charting errors and allow you to focus on patient care.
