Capsule is extremely proud of the team we have developed. Together we work to design, develop, and bring innovative solutions to the market and to support those solutions with the highest quality of service possible. We are committed to improving healthcare and to creating solutions that fit the way the hospital works and the way the clinician works. And while we believe that no one individual is more important than another, regardless of their title, we do have a very strong management team that brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table to help steer Capsule in the right direction. So here is just a quick snapshot of some of the individuals that help make it all happen.

Arnaud Houette
CEO
Arnaud Houette has served as CEO of Capsule since 2004. He joined Capsule in 2000 as head of Sales and Marketing when Capsule transformed into a product company and raised initial financing. He implemented the strategy to distribute Capsule products through partnerships with CIS and EMR vendors and negotiated contracts with Philips, Epic, Eclipsys, Draeger, and several other companies. As CEO, he focused Capsule's strategy on the US market, incorporated the US subsidiary, brought in new investors and high-profile executives, and turned Capsule into a fast-growing company. Prior to joining Capsule, Mr. Houette worked for Air Liquide, the world leader in industrial and medical gases, where he served as Director of Business Development in South East Asia and General Manager of Air Liquide Thailand.
Florent Auroyer
CFO
, EMEA President
Florent Auroyer joined Capsule in 2009 as VP Finance & Administration. He successfully implemented best practices, such as the SAP Business One ERP, a very robust and professional reporting system and financial and accounting tools. Among other things, he reduced DSO, re-negotiated bank loans, enhanced insurance coverage, and set up an HR organization. He has been instrumental in helping Capsule measure its addressable market and analyze its business plan options. Before joining Capsule, Mr. Auroyer was Financial Controller for the French subsidiary of Iron Mountain and Ocular Sciences and General Manager for Global Crossing. Auroyer began his career with Global One (a joint venture between Deutsche Telecom, France Telecom and Sprint) in 1996 as Network Cost Analyst and Wholesale Revenue Manager.
Stuart Long
President, North America

Stuart Long brings over 20 years of experience in both the clinical and business aspects of healthcare and information technology to Capsule. Prior to joining Capsule, Mr. Long held positions at Philips Healthcare as VP of Global Product Marketing for Enterprise Imaging and Informatics, at Agfa as the General Manager for their HIS/EMR platform launch in the USA, and at Fuji Medical as the National Director of Sales for Network System. He also worked in the clinical domains of radiology and non-invasive cardiology and therefore brings a strong understanding of the clinical environment and brings a strong focus on organization scalability and profitable growth.
Susan Niemeier, RN, BSN, MHA
CNO
Susan Niemeier has 20 years experience in healthcare, beginning her nursing career in complex clinical environments, inspiring her understand the relationship between technologies, the role of the nurse and the impact on patient outcomes. As the Chief Nursing Officer for Capsule, Ms. Niemeier aligns Capsule’s solutions with the requirements of the professional nurse and the care delivery process. Prior to joining Capsule, Ms. Niemeier's lead clinical operations for a RTLS company, where she worked to improve operations, clinical effectiveness and staff & patient satisfaction using RFID. Previously at Ascension Health in Missouri, Ms. Niemeier was responsible for researching, and developing innovative tools and methodologies to transform the physical environment, system efficiency and clinical workflow.
Glenn Petracci
Vice President, Sales
North America
Glenn Petracci brings over 25 years of experience in both the clinical and business aspects of healthcare and information technology to Capsule. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Petracci held executive level positions at Philips Healthcare, Recover Care, AMICAS and FUJI Medical Systems. He brings with him a well-rounded understanding of clinical environment needs and a strong focus on organizational scalability and profitable growth.
Heather Hitchcock
Vice President, Marketing
Heather Hitchcock has over 18 years of experience in the field of medical marketing. She is responsible for Strategic Market Planning at Capsule with the goal of expanding brand awareness, increasing market share, and developing educational, content rich programs for customers, prospects and partners. Prior to joining Capsule, Ms. Hitchcock held management positions at various medical companies including Spacelabs Healthcare, SLACK Incorporated and NeuMed and ran her own marketing consulting firm. Ms. Hitchcock’s energy and creative spirit make her uniquely qualified to take Capsule to the next level in healthcare IT.
John McHutcheon
Vice President, Professional Services
John McHutcheon brings over 12 years of experience in the healthcare market and a solid understanding of bio-medical devices. A strong customer advocate with a technical background, Mr. McHutcheon is responsible for managing all customer and partner implementations of Capsule’s medical device connectivity solution as well as overseeing worldwide hardware distribution. Prior to joining Capsule, Mr. McHutcheon held management positions at Wang Healthcare overseeing interface and conversion projects.
Curt Thornton
Vice President, Business Development
Curt Thornton has over 25 years experience in various roles within the healthcare industry. He isresponsible for Business Development with Capsule's device and EMR partners with the goal of fostering current partner relationships and identifying strategic growth opportunities for the company. Prior to joining Capsule, Mr. Thornton held management postions at Eclipsys(now Allscripts) and Medseek. His career has been focused on strategic alliances, consulting services, corporate operations, product marketing and sales, serving both the vendor and provider communities.
Peter Kelley
Director, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs

Peter Kelley brings over 20 years of experience developing and manufacturing medical devices under FDA GMP regulations, and delivering healthcare information systems. He is responsible for leading the quality and regulatory efforts at Capsule. He has a strong technical background in design controls, management controls, CAPA and GMP. Prior to joining Capsule, Mr. Kelley was the Software and Systems Engineering Manager for GE Healthcare’s Surgical Navigation group. In that capacity he served as the Quality Site Representative for all FDA and ISO audits. He led the remediation of the quality management system while GE was operating under a consent decree with the FDA. Mr. Kelley was also Director of Product Development at Sentillion, and spent 11 years with Hewlett-Packard Medical Products Group in a variety
of technical leadership roles, including R&D and Manufacturing Engineering.
Brian McAlpine
Director, Strategic Products

Brian McAlpine has over 20 year experience in healthcare IT with a focus on medical device integration and information management. Brian manages the strategic direction of Capsule's product line and most recently led Capsule's product management effort to bring the innovative Capsule Neuron bedside platform to the market. He continues to work with the Capsule team to enhance the Capsule Neuron platform in the area of positive patient association and workflow. Prior to joining Capsule, Mr. McAlpine previously held senior product management and marketing roles with Emergin, HP Medical, Siemens Medical, Draeger Medical, and Philips-Emergin. He has extensive experience in medical device interfacing and alarm management.
